Circus

Vixi officially began her dance education at the age of three, but as a fourth-generation dancer, it’s fair to say that she was waltzing before she was walking. Unlike her predecessors, however, Vixi’s daredevil streak has led her to pursue new heights.

Her love of floating, flying, and falling (intentionally, of course!) takes wing through her training in gymnastics, acrobatics, and circus arts. She specializes in static trapeze and installation apparatuses, where she gracefully combines dance movement with aerial skills to create airborne art. She’s studied and performed at the renowned Circus Center, Project Bandaloop, and Flyaway Productions, among others.

Vixi is also trained in clowning and worked closely with the Medical Clown Project to help integrate their groundbreaking program into Bay Area hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.
